I have recently embarked on a reading frenzy of a few magazines dealing with graphic design. The three issues that I purchased were well worth the money. They were full of useful information as well as tutorials in all programs such as: Illustrator, Flash, Photoshop, Dreamweaver and so on. But the magazines also contained interesting articles on artist in the market such as Christian Partl and John Masse. I find this a very useful tool in my quest in becoming a better graphic designer and would recommend it as part of your design pallet.

The importance of reading cannot be understated. It not only makes us more informed and educated, but it provides the foundation for future creative endeavors. I would also recommend reading Communication Arts, HOW, and Print magazines on a regular basis. You can check them out from the campus library.
